Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology Practice

Location: Hammond, LA, 70403

Northlake Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established and growing digestive health practice in Hammond, Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct GI patient consultations and develop treatment plans
• Monitor chronic GI conditions (IBD, liver disease, GERD, etc.)
• Coordinate care with physicians, infusion nurses, and imaging providers
• Ensure thorough documentation and patient education
• Assist in prescription management and medication follow-up

Qualifications:

• Licensed as an NP in Louisiana (FNP, AGNP, ANP)
• Experience in gastroenterology or internal medicine preferred
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• EMR proficiency
