More about the Role

We are a fast-paced, growing, two-doctor veterinary practice in Lake Park, Florida seeking a Full-Time experienced Veterinary Technician with strong surgical experience to join our team.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about patient care, efficiency, and team development.

Responsibilities Include:Surgical anesthesia monitoring and patient careAssisting in surgery and dentistryRunning technician appointments and supporting exam roomsTraining and guiding support staffMaintaining high standards of patient safety and hospital efficiency

Essential Responsibilities

• Surgical anesthesia monitoring and patient care
• Assisting in surgery and dentistry
• Running technician appointments and supporting exam rooms
• Training and guiding support staff
• Maintaining high standards of patient safety and hospital efficiency
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
• Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.
• Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages
• Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety
