Now Hiring: Housekeepers (Full-Time & PRN)

Northgate Health & Rehabilitation is looking for dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Housekeepers to join our team. We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and PRN positions.

Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you take pride in your work, have an eye for detail, and enjoy making a positive impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and biohazard waste according to facility procedures.
• Replenish paper products, soap, and other housekeeping supplies.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to ensure an exceptional resident experience.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility, nursing home, rehabilitation center, hotel, or commercial setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
