We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard construction management software. As a Construction Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and contractual requirements. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless workflow.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and other construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
- Oversee construction site operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently and that work complies with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations with HeavyBid or similar tools, and contract negotiations.
- Utilize software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Construction Management platforms for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, progress tracking, and adherence to project specifications.
- Facilitate effective project coordination by communicating clearly with clients, architects
, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects; site experience is essential.
- Proficiency in construction estimating tools like HeavyBid; familiarity with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is required.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software including ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration.
- Knowledge of contracts management and ability to oversee contract compliance effectively.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D for civil engineering design aspects is a plus; experience with Construction site safety protocols is mandatory.
