What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician/Cashier position at Northfield Pharmacy?
The Northfield Pharmacy is looking for a part-time pharmacy technician/cashier for a flexible hours position. Minimum hours would include a few 3-6 hour shifts per week with additional hours to cover vacations, call outs and other gift buying/merchandising needs.
The Northfield Pharmacy provides professional service with a hometown touch. Our hours are 9am-6pm on weekdays and 9am-2pm on Saturdays.
The ideal candidate will:
have experience in the medical and/or retail field
have confidence with computers and have problems solving skills
be 17 years or older
be available afternoons and Saturdays
be willing to pursue national certification within 18 months (not currently a require by VT board but likely will be soon)
Responsibilities of technicians include: working at the cash register, stocking shelves, answering phone calls, assisting in prescription filling, making local deliveries, and providing satisfactory customer service. We are looking for energetic employees who are ready to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
