Northfield Hospital Clinics is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team and work as a team with other care providers to ensure delivery of premium care to each and every patient. You'll provide urgent care services including medical, orthopedic and minor surgical care; treatment for illnesses and injuries; physical examinations; laboratory and x-ray services.
Compensation
We are committed to providing compensation information for all open positions. The wage range for this position is $56.19 – $79.32 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, licensure, and internal equity considerations.

Key Accountabilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Order x-rays and labs to assist in evaluating and diagnosing illnesses and injuries
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Physician Assistant License from the MN State Board of Medical Practice, in good standing
- Certified as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
- Minimum of one year experience in acute care, family practice, emergency medicine or urgent care
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current RN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing, in good standing
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota
- Minimum of one year experience in acute care, family practice, emergency medicine or urgent care
- 64 hours per two-week pay period
- Two 12-hour shifts (8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and one 8-hour shift (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) each week
- Includes an every fourth weekend rotation.
