Audiologist
Summary
Provide audiology services in a clinic setting and support our ENT practice at our Lakeville Clinic.
Compensation
We are committed to providing compensation information for all open positions. The wage range for this position is $36.50—$51.53 per hour. Compensation is determined based on experience, education, and internal equity considerations.
Key Accountabilities
- Counsel and instruct patients and their families in techniques to improve hearing and communication related to hearing loss.
- Evaluate hearing and balance disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment.
- Participate in conferences or training to update or share knowledge of new hearing or balance disorder treatment methods or technologies.
- Conduct or direct research on hearing or balance topics and report findings to help in the development of procedures, technology, or treatments.
- Administer hearing tests and examine patients to collect information on type and degree of impairment, using specialized instruments and electronic equipment.
- Engage in marketing activities, such as developing marketing plans, to promote business for private practices.
- Recommend assistive devices according to patients’ needs or nature of impairments.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from an accredited program.
- Current Minnesota Audiology License, or eligibility for Minnesota licensure.
- Clinical experience in audiology, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience providing comprehensive audiology services in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with patients across a range of ages and hearing-related needs.
Schedule
- Casual/Call
- Varying Days/Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM
