Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with outside accountants and counsel in the design and coordination of all accounting practices.
- Responsible for overseeing all financial management issues for the company. This includes financial planning, accounting, budgeting, treasury, corporate tax matters, investments, strategic financial analysis, regulatory compliance, risk management, valuation of assets, and other financial issues as they arise.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to translate growth ambition into credible, defensible financial plans.
- Develop, implement, and manage efficient, scalable, and insightful financial reporting and forecasting processes.
- Proactively identify and analyze indicators of current financial performance to effectuate strategic and operational improvements throughout the organization.
- Challenge, test and support business development assumptions for the improvement of forecasting, planning, and pipeline-to-revenue conversion discipline.
- Develop annual audit engagement protocols and maintains appropriate internal controls, including policies and procedures, while maintaining a constructive and transparent relationship with the company’s auditors.
- Analyze key performance metrics to highlight operating issues, challenges, and profit opportunities.
- Contribute to company growth by providing financial perspective to key strategic decisions and ongoing capital investments.
- Establish and reinforce finance’s role as a strategic enabler to the business. Supporting strategic initiatives including new service lines, systems investments, and capital allocation.
- Lead design and execution of all financial arrangements for the company.
- Lead finance team rebuild and capability development amid transition and ambiguity.
- Serve as a stabilizing, people-first executive presence across the organization.
- Support supply negotiations, inventory management and other vendor and purchasing management activities.
- Build trust in financial leadership through transparency, clarity, and collaborative decision-making.
- Communicate with various audiences regarding financial matters and issues; management, the Board of Directors, and outside parties.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS or equivalent in accounting; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of management experience preferred
- High degree of technical competency, with solid understanding of balance sheets, cash management, EBITDA, cash flow, P&L management and validated financial IT systems.
- An advanced business degree and/or CPA certification, as well as experience in Public Accounting are a plus.
- Strong operating finance and planning skills are required including a deep understanding of GAAP requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have outstanding business acumen, analytic skills, and the ability to engage with other Senior Leaders and Board of Directors in addressing complex business issues.

- The person filling this position will spend approximately 100% [AC1] in an office setting. Ability to work in a seated or standing position for chunks of consecutive time.
