What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preparation position at Northern Waters Smokehaus?
Responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients. Their sole responsibility is to prep all proteins and produce with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality assurance and food safety procedures. They are in charge of (but not limited to) organizing and labeling food items, chopping, slicing and portioning ingredients and sanitizing their work area. Items that are prepped range from vegetables, proteins and sauces. Preparation also works on catering orders as directed.
