Job Summary
This job is a great way to enjoy summer and the best of what New England has to offer. Days as a shuttle driver/ campground office staff are busy from the start. You will be responsible for greeting guests, helping them prep for whitewater rafting trips, and transporting them through the campground. It is also required to assist the guides with loading and unloading guest and boats. Outside of rafting, you will be shuttling people and canoes/kayaks to nearby boat launches. In between trips and on days without rafting booked, you will also assist with campground office duties, providing friendly support to guests and managing daily operations. Staff are eligible for discounts and entitled to a designated campsite to use throughout the summer.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vans to transport guests and staff within the campground and nearby boat launches.
- Assist guides with loading and unloading rafts, canoes, and kayaks. Heavy lifting required.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering directions in or around the campground.
- Manage campground office tasks such as check-ins, reservations, and guest inquiries with clear communication skills. As well as answering the phone and directing calls as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning duties around office, in shuttle vans, and through out the campground.
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with diverse guests and team members.
