- Coordinate with IT Manager, IS Manager, and Assistant IT Manager to ensure optimal IT system performance.
- Ensure integrity and stability of in-house voice, data, and wireless network services.
- Monitor system backups.
- Assist level II Systems Administrators with evaluating, analyzing, and maintaining IT systems. * Maintain virtual server resources, including storage, memory, and compute allocations.

- Work with team members to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to the network environment.
- Maintain familiarity with IT policies, security protocols, acceptable use policies, and incident reporting procedures.
- Analyze existing documentation, diagrams, and inventories to gain insight into the current infrastructure, and suggest improvements to the level II Systems Administrators.
- Establish systems to actively monitor network, storage, database, and Active Directory health.
- Utilize the helpdesk ticketing system, including creating, prioritizing, categorizing, and updating support tickets and projects.
- Ensure that all phases of support, installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, etc. are coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
- Formulate and recommend technical approaches for incorporating new technologies into new and existing information systems.
- Build, deploy, and maintain virtual desktop gold images for employees.
- Troubleshoot network systems and respond to all technical emergencies.
- Provides advanced support for network printing, handheld devices, distributed and central file services, email clients and protocols, * and other software packages as needed.
- Install updates, service packs, and upgrades to user desktops.
- Maintain the phone system and related hardware/software, including configuration and troubleshooting. Ensure the phone system is integrated with other IT systems and meets the organization's communication needs
Required Experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for an employee to successfully perform their duties.
- GED or High school diploma,
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or four (4) years experience in Computer Science field. Additionally,
- Five (5) years' experience in IT system administration or related field.
- Proven experience in successfully maintaining mission critical information systems. Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, negotiations, working with hardware/software vendors and end users.
- Must have an understanding of PC hardware and networking required.
- Critical thinking and solution-based problem-solving skills necessary to resolve issues within scope of responsibilities.
- Ability to exercise judgment and coordinate a number of projects to meet specified objectives.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people within healthcare settings, state and federal agencies and private organizations.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Position requires extensive travel between clinic sites and thus requires reliable transportation and ability to adhere to regular attendance.
