POSITION SUMMARY:Under general supervision from the Operations Manager / Compliance Officer, this position will provide administrative assistant support directly to the Operations Manager / Compliance Officer as a supportive function. A successful incumbent will work closely with other leaders and supporting staff throughout the agency in supporting administrative functions of the Operations and Compliance departments. This position works independently to manage and complete a variety of tasks and will roll up escalation concerns to the supervisor.

- Perform and/or organize administrative activities in order to aid in keeping operations running smoothly.
- Communication with various departments in the agency as well as outside agencies through email, telephone, and written correspondence.
- Schedule and organize meetings.
- Information Management for supportive functions of operations, facilities and compliance.
- Manage renewal applications for various agency wide licenses, permits and certifications; prepare for submission for initial applications of the same.
- In collaboration with other administration leaders, assist and support policy, procedure and job aid development and revision.
- Assist in staff training on various programs as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide the highest possible level of service to clients;
- Promote teamwork and cooperative effort among employees;
- Maintain safe practices; and
- Abide by the NVIH's policies and procedures as they may from time to time be updated.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma and two (2) years' experience in an office setting performing similar duties.
- Administrative assistance or healthcare experience preferred;
- Proficiency with various computer programs such as MS Office.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills in maintaining work relationships and in guiding co-workers.
- Ability to multitask, excellent organizational skills and follow through.
- Ability to organize, adapt, and prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve, escalating the identification of problems with solution-based feedback.
- Ability to work with independently.
- Must have reliable transportation.
