About The Role
Northern Valley Catholic Social Service is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) who will serve as a key executive leader responsible for providing strategic oversight and integration across the organization’s administrative functions, including Finance, Operations, and Human Resources. Reporting directly to the ED, the CAO ensures that administrative systems, fiscal practices, organizational processes, and internal infrastructure support the agency’s mission and long-term sustainability.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining organizational health through strong fiscal oversight,
long-range forecasting, process improvement, and cross-departmental leadership. The CAO works to
ensure that administrative departments operate cohesively, efficiently, and in alignment with
organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in administration,
finance, operations, or executive management.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience overseeing multiple departments and senior
leaders.
- Experience within nonprofit organizations strongly preferred.
- Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, organizational development, and process
implementation required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting,
Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
