Job Description
Northern Utah Dermatology is currently looking for a medical assistant to join our team in South Ogden. We would train the right person with any background in patient care. We are looking for someone to work in our South Ogden location. Duties include rooming patients, charting, completing patient histories, assisting in exams and procedures, blood draws, and light office duties. The office is open Monday through Friday, days and hours may vary. We are hoping to find a qualified applicant that can work 3 days per week. Pay will be based on experience.
Responsibilities
Medical Assistants works closely with the doctor, documenting in the medical record, completing prior authorizations, coordinating prescription medications, assisting with surgeries, and sterilizing tools.
Qualifications
- Good customer service skills is essential for this position.
- Prefer certified Medical Assistant, but not required.
- Knowledge of and experience with EMR charting is helpful.
- Needs to possess the desire to learn and excel in the roll.
- Should possess good organizational skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
