What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Classroom Teacher position at Northern Tier Community Action?
Preschool Teaching position for a tentative opening in August of 2026. The children, aged 3-5 attend for 6 hours per day. Teachers work 7.5 hours daily Monday - Friday.
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in child and family development, early childhood education, or equivalent coursework is required.
- Experience working with preschool children is required;
- 7.5 hours/day - Monday to Friday;
- Classroom organization, management, and excellent communication skills are key to being successful in this position;
- Clearances, physical and TB test are required prior to class starting;
