What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weatherization Installer position at Northern Tier Community Action Corporation Weatherization?
Will use manual and/or power tools to weatherize client's private homes. Will use appropriate materials to provide adequate air sealing and insulating measures. Assists Crew Leader with work load, and materials. Performs or reports any needed repairs. Work in confined crawlspaces and hot attics, non-traditional environments where the true hands-on craftmanship happens. Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including client's home, warehouse and work vehicles. Often communicates with the clients in a professional, helpful manner. Represents the program and the agency in a positive manner with clients and the general public. Gain a sense of pride for a job well done and being able to help others see a decrease in their energy bills and an improvement in health & safety.
Other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel and Director.
Experience preferred, but will train.
