What You'll Be Doing
You will work as part of the Got It! multidisciplinary team to deliver school-based early intervention for primary school children and their families. The role includes assessment and evidence-based intervention with children and families, facilitating child and parent groups, working collaboratively with teachers and school staff, and providing education and training to parents and school communities.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. The full list of requirements are outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11). You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/ Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy or nursing and relevant registration with AHPRA and eligibility to the AASW. Meet criteria for full registration for psychologists.
- Clinical skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based approaches.
- High level of interpersonal skills and commitment to working closely with other members of a multi-disciplinary team.
