Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Watford City, ND. The Shop Assistant will support day-to-day operations in the shop, including material handling, organizing tools and equipment, performing maintenance tasks, ensuring a clean and safe workspace, and assisting with inventory management. The role also involves collaborating with team members to meet operational goals and providing logistical support to ensure seamless workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience in general labor, organizing tools, and working in a shop environment
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools and equipment
- Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe workplace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to dynamic work environments
- Previous experience in a similar industry, such as construction or oil and gas, is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training preferred
