About the Role:
The Senior Geologist will lead geological investigations and provide expert analysis to support exploration, development, and environmental projects across diverse terrains in the United States. This role is pivotal in interpreting complex geological data to guide decision-making processes and optimize resource management. The Senior Geologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement field studies, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. They will also mentor junior geologists and contribute to the advancement of geological methodologies within the organization. Ultimately, this position drives the successful identification and evaluation of mineral and energy resources while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in geological exploration or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in geological mapping, sampling techniques, and data interpretation.
- Experience with geological software such as Vulcan, Datamine, Deswik, and LeapFrog.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Masters preferred
- Experience in mineral resource evaluation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed geological mapping, sampling, and data collection in the field to characterize subsurface conditions.
- Analyze geological data using advanced software and laboratory techniques to interpret stratigraphy, structure, and mineralogy.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, maps, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Lead project planning and execution, including risk assessment, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals to integrate geological insights into project development.
- Mentor and train junior geologists and field staff, fostering professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations during field operations and reporting.

The Details:
Working 15 days on, 13 days off, off rotating schedule of days and nights, up to 12 hours a day or more at a remote campsite. Extreme conditions, including but not limited to extreme and changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.
Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation. Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise & weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms. Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, internet & cable tv programs. Cell service is available when using Wi-Fi. The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.
