Team Lead Headrest - HDS

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to work all spots on the headrest line and know quality requirements / procedures
• Work with Supervisor to establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
• Maintain and cultivate a team environment within their department and with all other departments
• Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance
• Inspects work areas to determine types of work required and materials / equipment to be used
• Assist in location of material and place where needed
• Resolves operations, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Resolve work problems & assists other associates in solving work problems
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product
• Learn and perform all functions in relation to current QAD Inventory system
• Perform Quality checks correctly and at the proper times required
• Endorse safety regulations in their areas
• Responsible for reporting all accidents and incidents to their supervisors
• Will relieve the operators for breaks, lunches, restroom, etc.
• Must be able to learn and perform job functions related to MQ1, and HDS One Stop programs
• Assist in re-work activities as assigned
• All other duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Forklift license / training required
• Must have been a trained Level 2 operator.
• Must be able to use hand tools
• Must be overhead crane certified.

• Hy flex gloves
• Safety Glasses
• Earplugs or Muffs
• Steel Toe shoes

Educational skills required

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Training required

• Must know how to use Eagle and print labels

Physical Job Requirements – ALL jobs

• Must be able to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a consistent basis
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, 10 hour or 12 hour shifts (up to 7 days a week)
• Must be able to stand 10 - 12 hours daily. 
• Must have physical dexterity
