About the Role:

The NSI Quality Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing quality control activities, implementing quality assurance protocols, and leading a team to maintain consistent product excellence. The supervisor will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions. They will also ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ultimately, the NSI Quality Supervisor ensures that customer expectations are met or exceeded through rigorous quality management and effective team leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a quality supervision or quality assurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Proven experience with quality control tools and methodologies including root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Quality Management such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience working within the NSI (National Security Inspectorate) or similar regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and advanced quality data analysis techniques.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with complex quality requirements.
  • Proficiency with quality management software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily quality control operations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation in alignment with NSI standards.
  • Lead and mentor quality control staff, providing training and support to enhance team performance and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and finished products to identify defects or deviations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor quality metrics and prepare detailed reports for management review and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies related to quality and safety.

Additionally, proficiency with quality tools and software supports efficient documentation, reporting, and audit processes, ensuring transparency and accountability in quality operations.

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
