Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Installation Crew Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of stainless-steel food and dairy equipment and piping at various client sites. We are looking for Fitters, Welders, and Finishers willing to travel in the upper Midwest and occasionally throughout the US. Our work schedules will be per job, typically Monday-Thursday for local work and 10 days on and 4 days off for traveling work. Travel and lodging expenses are paid for by the company along with a $70/day per diem. Candidates must be willing to travel, this is not a shop position.
Responsibilities
- Perform stainless steel TIG & MIG welding
- Assemble and fabricate components.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems during field service visits to ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accurate installation procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including testing results, configuration settings, and service reports.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met
Qualifications
- 2 years minimum TIG and MIG welding experience
- Must be able to fit tube/pipe.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail.
- Reliable and Team-Oriented
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
