JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision of the president, the Inside Sales / Customer Service Assistant plays a key role in supporting sales growth, pricing accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This position serves as a central point of contact for existing and prospective customers while maintaining critical pricing, inventory, and sales data. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across sales, quality, and operations teams in an industrial manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Contacting existing customers to understand current needs, support ongoing needs, and identify new opportunities.
· Follow up on all outstanding customer quotes to drive timely decisions.
· Support accurate quote preparation through detailed cost reviews.
· Create customer price lists. Organize all part numbers, drawings, pricing files in shared drives.
· Create monthly sales reports actual versus budget.
· Follow up on all outstanding quotes with customers.
· Pricing maintenance on all active parts, checking machine rates, material costs, cycle times and packaging costs.
· Manage new tooling orders and distortion forming projects.
· Qualify product needs from customers listed in the marketing target list.
· Coordinate completion of PSS sheets with QC to include all required information such as cycle time, and packaging.
· Maintain AD folder - add new part numbers.
· Other project tasks / responsibilities as need to support customer service and sales growth.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED, associate’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
· 2 - 5 years’ experience with experience in an inside sales, customer service, or pricing role within a similar industrial or manufacturing role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines.
· Experience working with engineered parts or custom manufacturing.
· Familiarity with cost modeling, machine rates, and manufacturing processes.
· Experience coordinating projects across sales, quality, and production teams.
· Ability to interpret and adhere to policies & procedures in accordance with company practices.
· Analyze, interpret and communicate complex issue and recommendations.
· Regular attendance.
· Basic math and reading skills; attention to details.
· Use of basic office equipment (e.g., photocopier, voice mail, fax’ machine, calculator, multiple line telephones, computers etc.).
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite of products, especially with Excel and Microsoft Office.
· Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner both internally and externally.

Pay: $48,962.26 - $61,465.30 per year
