Role Description
We are seeking a Conductor/Engineer to join our team in Hallock, MN, for a full-time, on-site position. The role involves daily train operations, including managing train movement, operating locomotives, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
Qualifications
- Experience with train operations, including train movement and locomotive operation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, operational procedures, and compliance standards in the railroad industry.
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work as part of a collaborative team, and capability to follow detailed instructions effectively.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for addressing operational challenges.
- Physical ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications or training in railroad operations are a plus.
