Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Program Supervisor to join our Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) team. This is a full-time position working throughout our six-county service region. The ARMHS Program Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations as well as long-term strategic development of the ARMHS Program within Northern Pines Mental Health Center.
Essential Functions include:
- Complete all managerial functions for ARMHS staff including but not limited to: recruitment and selection, training, scheduling, providing direction, delegating assignments, providing evaluations, addressing employee concerns, and addressing employee performance issues
- Maintain a client caseload and perform all essential functions of the ARMHS Practitioner role
- Collaborate with Director of Operations, Clinical Director, and Human Resources to develop and enforce policies, procedures and protocols
- Regularly facilitate staff meetings and individual supervision as necessary
- Manage daily operations of ARMHS program in compliance with all state and federal regulations including but not limited to: standards of care, licensing and insurance
- Complete audits in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Director of Operations to ensure program requirements are being met
- Monitor and evaluate client care to ensure treatment is carried out in accordance with agency philosophy and quality standards
- Review and monitor staff schedules within the E.H.R. to ensure efficient scheduling and productivity
- Monitor ARMHS documentation to ensure it is completed on time and to standards
- Collaborate with Clinical Director and Director of Operations to grow ARMHS services as well as provide oversight of program activities
- Train new ARMHS staff in various functions of the ARMHS Practitioner and Peer Support Specialist roles
- Assist with regular supervision including scheduling and co-facilitating
- Regularly run reports and take action to resolve issues. This includes, but is not limited to: failed activities, status not kept, incomplete status, rejected trips, ARMHS compliance report, etc.
- Provide ongoing field supervision
- Interview with clients regarding services
- Follow up with any client complaints to ensure highest quality of care
Qualifications include:
- Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner per MN DHS OR
- Must hold a valid license in behavioral health without restrictions (e.g. LICSW, LPCC, LP, LMFT, NP) in the State of MN
- In addition to the above duties, a Mental Health Professional will be responsible for the Clinical Supervision of the ARMHS Team, along with intakes and in-home psychotherapy for ARMHS clients
- This position involves travel; a valid Driver’s License and ability to operate a motor vehicle is required
- Prior experience related to county social services, characteristics of mental health conditions and their effects on functions, psychotropic medications, the effects and characteristics of mental illness is preferred
- Senior leadership experience in a not-for-profit setting is preferred
Compensation & Benefits include:
- A starting wage range of $55,000 - $75,000 annually
