What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Manager position at Northern Pines Greenery, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Perform general secretarial duties, including answering phone calls and taking messages.
- Organizing outgoing deliveries and communicate with delivery coordinator.
- Greet customers and direct them to the right products.
- Making signage for new products that come in.
- Unloading trucks of palletized materials as they come in.
- Checking out customers with their purchases and helping them load them into their vehicle.
- Communicate with inventory manager when product is low and/or needs to be ordered for customers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Forklift and cash register experience - Proficient in office management software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
