What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN or LPN position at Northern Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons?
Northern Oral Surgery & Implant Center is looking to add a RN or LPN to join our close-knit team! We have five doctors who rotate between our three office locations. We pride ourselves on exceptional patient care with a great team-focused office.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, hard-working and can multitask efficiently. Our office works at a fast pace while providing comprehensive patient care. We offer a competitive wage with the best benefits package in Duluth! The RN/LPN works closely with our oral surgeons and assistants. Some of the job duties are:
- Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepare patients for surgery and protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Assist oral surgeon with sedated patients pre-operative and post-operative, throughout recovery.
- Help surgeon manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency drug and oxygen supply.
- Educate patients by giving postoperative instructions.
- Document dental care services by charting in patient's electronic records.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by abiding by HIPAA.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:30
- No weekends!!
