What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing-In-Training position at Northern Oaks Living and Rehabilitation?
Northern Oaks is looking for nurses interested in joining our Director of Nursing in Training program. This is a unique and intensive on-the-job training program. We are committed to providing an excellent clinical experience for our patients and an amazing work environment for our employees.
Location: 2722 Old Anson Rd Abilene TX 79603
Schedule: M-F
Compensation: Starting around $65k
Overview:
· This is a multi-month program in which you obtain practical on-the-job training in a facility under the direct supervision of an experienced Director of Nursing mentor.
· Training includes spending time on the floor training while also participating in DON specific training such as attending market meetings, QAPI, Triple Check, PDPM and much more!
· At the end of the program the nurse will have gained knowledge, confidence, and relationships to support their clinical leadership journey.
What we are looking for:
· State RN or LPN License
· Skilled Nursing experience
· Prior leadership experience
