MRI Technologist
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shields patients accordingly
- Able to assess patient pain/claustrophobia interfering with imaging procedure -makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
- Performs MRI safety check on all patient and staff prior to entering the MRI room according to policy
- Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of burns and to patients

Qualifications:
Two year of radiological/imaging experience.
Prefer specific experience and training in MRI. Must become ARRT (MR) licensed within one year of employment. (This will be monitored by department supervisor)
ARRT license required.
Current BCLS certification.
Willing to take call / standby in MRI department and NNMC as needed.
