- SUMMARY**:
**Rehabilitation and Therapy Services Manage**
- r** (Manager) functions under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation and Therapy services (Director). The Manager is a positive, self-driven, and results oriented individual with a clear focus on high quality service and program development. This position will be responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development, and operations of the program. The Manager is an innovative communicator who continually looks for new strategies to build physician loyalty. The Manager will ensure their staff is providing appropriate care to patients in keeping with established standards for quality, and in accordance with generally established principles of care.
- MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**:
- Current State licensure or certification as PT, OTR or speech pathologist.
- At least 5 years supervisory experience required
- Current BLS certification.
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**:
- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of patient care protocols, clinical pathways and patient policies and procedures for care.
- Assumes a leadership role to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and review the plan of care and communicate findings with all members of the multidisciplinary team:
- Assesses and monitors the continuity of care and expedites and coordinates the delivery of services to facilitate a patient's progress throughout the continuum of care, from point of first interest, through the certification/authorization process, through the course of treatment to discharge to achieve desired quality outcomes
- Exhibits behaviors and actions which create a high level of patient/customer satisfaction, which contributes to positive patient/customer relations and which reflect for the patients /customers right, needs and confidentiality
- Effectively manages staff recruitment and retention. Maintains current competency for all staff
