Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Food and Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the dishwasher performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  
  

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Uses dish machine and dish chemicals appropriately.
• Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment and areas including carts, storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, and floors.
• Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the nutritional services director/ supervisor.
• Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
