Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a foot and ankle clinic. The position is full-time Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. The position is four 10 hour days, you will have a day off during each week, but your day off may change week to week. Travel will be required between different offices depending on the day of the week. We have 2 offices in Kalispell and 1 office in Polson. Staff rotate between all three. Candidate must have previous medical assistant experience, be a team player, able to multi-task, and willing to learn. We do not offer medical/dental benefits, but do offer paid-time, paid major holidays, and a 401K program.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- Rooming patients, taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Coordinate care- ex: ordering MRIs, CT, labs
- Prior authorizations
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Sterilize instruments
- Other medical office tasks as needed
- Assist with performing X-rays (we train on this)
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Experience working in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient service.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
