Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Pediatric Inpatient team in Bangor, Maine . This is an exciting opportunity to practice in the largest inpatient child psychiatry program in the state, within our newly opened (Fall 2023), state-of-the-art facility.
Position Highlights:
- Join and lead an interdisciplinary team known for delivering high-quality psychiatric care
- Provide clinical leadership, teaching, and mentorship to care team members
- Participate in teaching and lecturing opportunities within our Adult Psychiatry Residency Program
- Predictable full-time, Monday – Friday schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee diagnostic evaluations and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
- Ensure all therapies and therapeutic activities align with treatment goals
- Conduct initial evaluations, initiate treatment interventions, and provide ongoing patient care
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development
