Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking a per diem Emergency Medicine Physician to join our hospital- employed Emergency Medicine team in Bangor, Maine.
About us:
· Tertiary care referral center serving the northern 2/3 of Maine.
· 38k patients/year encompassing all ages, highest acuity ED in the state.
· Group consists of 16 ABEM certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and 7 Physician Associates. Dual physician coverage at a minimum 24/7
· Care areas include the main ED, Behavioral Health and observation. Access to behavioral health practitioners and clinicians 24/7
· Full support of medical specialists. Including ED Pharmacist, PICU, NICU, IMU, CCU, and a closed ICU
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411- bed, regional tertiary care and ACS-verified level II trauma center serving a patient population of approximately 500,000 in the northern two-thirds of the state.
