Summary :

The instructor works with the Clinical Professional Development team to implement educational programs. The instructor possesses expertise in one or more areas of responsibility. Examples may include operation of CNA instructor or certification as a MOAB instructor. The instructor will orchestrate these programs based on organizational priorities and will work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues to design and implement programs to support these priorities.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborates with Clinical Professional Development, departmental leaders and content experts to identify educational needs for clinical and non-clinical employees for implementation and evaluation of continuing education programs. • Assists in coordinating education times, space, equipment, and personnel.
  • Coordinates course schedules, curriculum content, and assessment tools with Clinical Professional Development/education department leader.
  • Assesses student performance via oral, written, or performance tests to measure progress and to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Ensures the course content is taught in accordance with the established syllabi. Provides a welcoming, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintains and exhibits a current knowledge of the profession and participates in continuing education.
  • Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
  • May perform other duties upon request.
