What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time School-Based Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT) position at Northern Light Counseling?
Northern Light Counseling is currently seeking School-Based Therapists to provide services across local school districts in Wayne and Pike County!
We are looking for compassionate, motivated clinicians who enjoy working with children and adolescents and value collaboration, flexibility, and being part of a supportive team.
This position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful clinical support within school settings while also being supported by an established and growing practice.
Position Overview:
- Provide primarily individual therapy services within partnered school districts
- Family therapy and assessments completed as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and treatment team members
- Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
- School-based schedule aligned with district hours and calendar
- Opportunity for additional outpatient hours if desired
Compensation:
Compensation is offered through a competitive fee-for-service split arrangement while clinicians build their caseload, with the opportunity to transition into a salaried position based on caseload, role structure, and clinician preference.

Qualifications:
- LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Clinical supervision is available for clinicians working toward advanced licensure.
