Duties
- Engage in proactive outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to educate clients on roofing options, materials, and benefits.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and targeted marketing campaigns to expand the customer base.
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling additional services or products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects, sales activities, follow-ups, and pipeline progress efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals that meet company profitability goals while satisfying customer needs.
- Collaborate with management on territory management strategies, market analysis, and sales forecasting to maximize growth potential.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or business development within the roofing industry or related construction sectors.
- Strong background in B2B (business-to-business) sales, direct sales, or territory management with a focus on technical or product-based solutions.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold calling, and converting prospects into loyal customers.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
