We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner to support our maintenance operations by ensuring all aircraft maintenance activities are efficiently scheduled, tracked, and documented. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of aircraft maintenance requirements, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments to keep our fleet mission-ready.

This is a full-time position based in our Orlando, Florida location. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage aircraft maintenance schedules in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and company policies.
 • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events to optimize aircraft availability and minimize downtime.
 • Track and forecast time-controlled components, inspections, and airworthiness directives (ADs).
 • Create and distribute work orders, maintenance packages, and task cards to maintenance teams.
 • Monitor progress of maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and compliance with established standards.
 • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure timely data entry into maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, Flightdocs, or similar).
 • Communicate upcoming maintenance needs to Maintenance Managers, Technicians, and Operations teams.
 • Assist in developing maintenance forecasts and reports for planning purposes.
 • Support coordination with vendors and service providers for outsourced maintenance tasks.
 • Ensure all maintenance documentation meets FAA and company requirements.
 • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Strong understanding of FAA Part 135 and/or Part 145 maintenance requirements.
 • Experience with aircraft maintenance tracking programs (CAMP, Flightdocs, Corridor, etc.).
 • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
 • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
 • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance planning or a related technical operations role (required).
 • Prior experience supporting business aviation or turbine aircraft strongly preferred.
 • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred but not required.
