We are seeking a skilled Dedicated Aviation Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a CL3500, and to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has significant experience working with Bombardier Challenger 300/350/3500 series aircraft, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, is an organized and thorough communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position based in our Orlando, Florida location. 

Responsibilities:

• Proactively plan for scheduled maintenance, coordinate with vendors as required, order dedicated parts, and track progress on behalf of the owner. 
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft along side Northern Jet Management and third party vendors in accordance with FAA, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies, with a focus on maximizing uptime and minimizing AOG. 
• Routinely communicate with the owner regarding the status of the aircraft, including detailed technical explanations, recommendations, and project timelines. 
• Work collaboratively with pilots, Optimization, and internal and external maintenance teams to ensure aircraft availability.
• Conduct detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on the airframe, engines, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
• Document all maintenance actions accurately in maintenance logs and comply with all reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and on the tarmac.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, training, and certifications.

Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft systems, and maintenance procedures
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and computer-based maintenance tracking systems
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Must be able to uphold the highest standard of client service
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in a consultative approach; fluency in English required
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task

Education and Experience:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (Required)
• Extensive experience with Bombardier fleet types, specifically the CL300/350/3500

Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods of walking, standing, squatting, crouching, or bending, predominantly in an external environment where heat and cold will be a factor. 

Ability to lift 50-60 lbs., climb a ladder, hold 25lb hose in bucket 10-15ft. in the air.
