Event Coordinator

Position Title: Event Staff

Location: 21565 Executive Pkwy, Elkhart, IN

Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

Reports To: Director of the Northern Indiana Event Center

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to join our team in delivering exceptional experiences at a variety of events including conferences, trade shows, banquets, festivals, and private functions. As a member of our event team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and a memorable atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide outstanding customer service throughout the event
• Assist with event setup and teardown including tables, chairs, signage, and décor
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Support registration, ticketing, and guest check-in processes
• Guide attendees and answer questions about schedules, locations, and amenities
• Coordinate with vendors, performers, and other staff to maintain event flow
• Respond promptly to guest concerns or emergencies with professionalism
• Uphold venue policies and assist with crowd control when necessary
• Ability to adapt to other responsabilities assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or event support preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Bilingual is preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain Bartending License
