REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
- Current CPR or acquire within 3 months of hire.
- Tactical Handcuff Training within 6 months of hire if no prior Law Enforcement, Corrections, NCPPS or Military
background - NC Private Protective Services Unarmed Guard Training within 3 months of hire.
- NC Private Protective Services Armed Security Officer Training / Certification within 3 months of hire.
- Taser certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record as required by hospital’s liability insurance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior Law Enforcement or Corrections Experience
- Prior Military Experience
- Hazardous materials awareness
