Chiropractic Assistant / Front Desk Team Member
Northern Health Chiropractic – Ishpeming, MI
Approximately 20-25 Hours Per Week
Are you friendly, dependable, organized, and looking for a rewarding position close to home? Northern Health Chiropractic is looking for a new Chiropractic Assistant / Front Desk Team Member to join our welcoming healthcare office in Ishpeming.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a close-knit team. Our office includes two Doctors of Chiropractic and two Massage Therapists, and this position plays an important role in helping the office run smoothly while making patients feel comfortable and cared for.
For those who live in Ishpeming, Negaunee, or the surrounding area, this is also a wonderful opportunity to work locally without making the daily drive to Marquette—especially during our U.P. winters!
Responsibilities
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Scheduling appointments for chiropractors and massage therapists
- Answering phones and assisting with scheduling
- Checking insurance benefits
- Collecting payments and handling money
- Using office computer software and maintaining accurate information
- Bringing patients to treatment rooms
- Helping patients get checked in and set up on therapy tables
- Assisting with patient flow throughout the office
- Completing opening and closing duties
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, organized, comfortable with computers, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy office setting. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to make patients feel welcome are especially important to us.
Previous healthcare, chiropractic, medical office, receptionist, scheduling, or insurance experience is helpful, but a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important.
Schedule & Benefits
This position is approximately 20-25 hours per week and includes a combination of morning and evening shifts. Our office sees patients Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.Applicants should have flexibility to work some opening and closing shifts within those hours.
