We're seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join the team at our facility in Junction City just north of the airport in Eugene, Oregon.

- Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analyses to resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and production challenges.
- Lead high-impact process improvement projects that increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve yield.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to implement changes and achieve performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and company quality guidelines.
- Use data-driven methods to measure performance, track project outcomes, and drive decision-making.
- Train, mentor, and coach plant personnel on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply data.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable change.
- Technical knowledge of cereal and baking science, ingredient functionality, and processing equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards; HACCP and SQF experience preferred.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and influence others.
