We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment and supplies to various locations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Load and unload delivery items efficiently and safely.
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Navigate designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Familiarity with route driving and local area navigation is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
