- We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and guidance in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs. Your expertise in product knowledge and customer service will help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and fosters customer loyalty.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions and recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system while maintaining compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring shelves are replenished and visually appealing.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette when handling calls.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
- Updating Menus when Product is received or sold out
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is highly preferred. Familiarity with cannabis products and industry regulations is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong skills in retail math to assist with cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to effectively communicate product knowledge to customers while demonstrating great patience and understanding.
- A proactive approach to learning about new products and trends within the cannabis

Northern Emerald is a chill little dispensary in the Butte 15 min drive out of Palmer next to Git N Go Liquor, we are looking for a part time Bud Tender. You would be chatting with and helping costumers find products and completing transactions . Occasionally you will receive, package and sticker products to put it on the sales floor for people to buy. If you have knowledge on how to use Metric and a POS system let us know.
We also prefer if you live in the Butte or Palmer area, due to AK weather and commute times.
We encourage you to stop by in person and drop off a resume if interested. People who drop off resumes will have priority. Someone local in the area is preferred but not required. Were looking for people to work closing shifts Thursday Friday Saturday.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
