We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of dental practices. This role involves providing high-quality hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to their needs.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize / learn Dentrix for documentation review and patient management.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general dentistry and specialized areas.
Experience
- Experienced hygienists, or new grads welcome.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
