Position Overview
This is a part-time, onsite position (24 hours/week). As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nutrition care plans for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met with expertise and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, including those with complex medical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on residents’ needs.
Monitor residents’ nutritional status and modify care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services into overall resident care.
Provide guidance to dietary staff on menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance.
Educate residents and families on dietary modifications and nutritional goals.
Ensure compliance with federal and state dietary regulations.
Qualifications
Licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of Pennsylvania.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional requirements, and regulatory standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
