Job Description
As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children or individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will help implement behavior plans, collect data, and support clients in building skills that make a positive impact on their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavior therapy services in clients’ homes or clinic setting
- Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record accurate data
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and families
- Maintain professionalism and ethical standards
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to commute up to 45 minutes
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for working with children or individuals with ASD
- Comfortable using technology for documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (preferred, not required)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Interest in professional growth and leadership opportunities
