Maintenance Technician – Food Production

Location: Newark, OH

Full Time/ Onsite

About the Role

Join a fast-growing food production facility dedicated to quality and efficiency. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a key member of the maintenance team, performing hands-on technical work to keep production lines running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on food production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including FDA and GMP requirements.
• Support production teams to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in food & beverage manufacturing or industrial production.
• Skilled in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic PLC systems.
• Ability to read technical schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (FDA, GMP) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or technical training are a plus (HVAC, Electrical, PLC).
