Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher/Research Scientist at Northeastern University's Charlotte, NC campus, working with Dr. Ajitesh Srivastava. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of Network Science, Graph Machine Learning, or Algorithms, and an interest in health-related applications. The candidate is expected to have a good grasp of theory in these fields and experience implementing complex models. Additionally, the role may involve mentoring students.
The title and salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in a computational science or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Quantitative Biology, or related fields).
- Core Expertise: Deep theoretical grasp and hands-on experience in one or more of Network Science, Graph Machine Learning, or Algorithms.
- Domain Interest: Strong interest or background in public health.
- Technical Skills: Experience implementing and evaluating complex models.
